CSNews Honors the Best in Single-Store Design

NATIONAL REPORT -- As the convenience store industry at large continues to open bigger, brighter, friendlier and more fresh-food-oriented stores, so too do the industry's single-store owners as they strive to meet the needs of today’s on-the-go, mobile consumer.

The Convenience Store News for the Single Store Owner Store Design Contest, now in its fourth year, honors single-store operators who have created the most exciting, innovative and shopper-friendly looks for their stores. Entries are judged on innovation, creativity and the positive impact of the overall design on the business.

This year, we honor nine single-store owners — our most yet — who have introduced new or remodeled stores that are redefining what consumers expect from a convenience store.

This year's winners are:

Best Original Store Design

Winner: Warrior Fuel, Santa Ana, N.M.

Honorable Mention: Eddie's, Fort Worth, Texas
