CSNews Honors the Best in Single-Store Design
NATIONAL REPORT -- As the convenience store industry at large continues to open bigger, brighter, friendlier and more fresh-food-oriented stores, so too do the industry's single-store owners as they strive to meet the needs of today’s on-the-go, mobile consumer.
The Convenience Store News for the Single Store Owner Store Design Contest, now in its fourth year, honors single-store operators who have created the most exciting, innovative and shopper-friendly looks for their stores. Entries are judged on innovation, creativity and the positive impact of the overall design on the business.
This year, we honor nine single-store owners — our most yet — who have introduced new or remodeled stores that are redefining what consumers expect from a convenience store.

Honorable Mention: Monvalle Gas Station, Itapema, Brazil
Best Hybrid Design
Winner: Fare & Square, Chester, Pa.
Best Beer Cave
Winner: Gas N Wash, Mokena, Ill.
Best Car Wash
Winner: Tanforan Shell Car Wash, San Bruno, Calif.
