Cumberland Farms Customers Sip In the Drink Deals

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — As the weather heats up, Cumberland Farms Inc. is offering its customers several deals to cool down.

The convenience store retailer is once again running its summer promotion, Chug Jug. Through Labor Day, customers can purchase a 32-ounce, refillable mug for $1.99 and then refill it with fountain or frozen beverages for 49 cents.

In addition, on May 20, Cumberland Farms and f'real are sponsoring a 99-cent f'real Day, during which customers can purchase a f'real milkshake, including the Farmhouse Blend coffee shake or a smoothie, for 99 cents. For every f'real purchased, Cumberland Farms will donate 25 cents to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

"We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate this year's 99-cent f'real Day than to give back to an organization like Make-A-Wish," said Ari Haseotes, CEO of Cumberland Farms. "We've built our brand on supporting charitable organizations and giving back to local communities, and we are happy to help f'real support Make-A-Wish with this promotion. We hope our customers will stop by their local Cumberland Farms for a delicious, discounted milkshake that will also help to make a child's wish come true."

Make-A-Wish grants more than 14,000 wishes every year and is committed to ensuring that every eligible child's wish is granted. Its success is made possible by donations from individuals and organizations across the globe.

"f'real is a dedicated partner of Make-A-Wish and we are excited to help build awareness for the cause during the 99-cent f'real Day at Cumberland Farms," added Dinsh Guzdar, f'real foods president.

To kick off the partnership between Cumberland Farms and f'real, Haseotes and Guzdar will help blend milkshakes at the Cumberland Farms store at 365 Turnpike Road in Southborough, Mass., on May 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Framingham-based Cumberland Farms operates a network of 600-plus convenience stores across eight states.
