Cumberland Farms Debuts 'Next-Generation' Store in Florida

08/22/2017

WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — Cumberland Farms opened its first "next generation" convenience store in Titusville, Fla. The first-of-its-kind store features Cumberland Farms' newest design, equipment and food offerings, all designed to enhance customer convenience and offer an expanded menu that rivals fast-casual restaurants.

The new store at 4560 S. Washington Ave. opened on Aug. 18. Cumberland Farms expects to open many additional stores over the next year as the c-store chain continues its extensive and aggressive remodeling and expansion initiatives in Florida.

"We are excited to introduce the future of Cumberland Farms to Titusville," said Cumberland Farms CEO Ari Haseotes. "We currently operate 14 stores across Brevard County and have plans to expand in Florida over the next several years. We hope our self-service ordering terminals make us even more convenient and that customers enjoy our new food and beverage offerings."

The 5,000-square-foot location offers several new food and beverage options. Smoothies, frozen espresso and milkshakes are available, along with specialty coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino and lattes.

The expanded foodservice menu features a variety of specialty items, including ciabatta sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, frittatas and melts. All of these items can be ordered quickly and easily on self-service ordering terminals.

The new store continues to offer indoor community counters and outdoor patio seating as part of the updated architectural features.

Westborough-based Cumberland Farms operates nearly 600 convenience stores across eight states.
