Don Rogers Certified

FREDERICKSBURG, Va. --

Don Rogers, director of foodservice Quarles Petroleum Inc., has been certified in the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation?s Foodservice Management Professional (FMP) certification program.

The FMP credential distinguishes restaurant and foodservice managers who have achieved a high level of knowledge, experience, leadership and professionalism within the industry.

Rogers earned the FMP designation after successfully meeting the program?s challenging experience and educational requirements and passing a comprehensive exam. He started in the restaurant industry in 1976 working for the Marriott Corp. Throughout high school and college, Rogers stayed in the industry working in various parts of the country and varying aspects of the restaurant industry. Don started his management career with Marriott in 1981. In 1983, he transferred to Taco Bell.

Since leaving Taco Bell, Rogers held multi-unit management positions with Pepsico. Inc. and 7-Eleven prior to joining Quarles Food Stores a division of Quarles Petroleum Inc.

The FMP certification program is administered by the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to developing, promoting and providing educational and training solutions for the foodservice industry.
