Fuel retailers have a seamless, money-saving solution capable of controlling a wide variety of technological devices with Dresser Wayne’s launch of the Fusion universal site controller, the company stated. The solution was created to simplify and consolidate enterprise-wide equipment control and expand device functionality, even when systems are from different vendors, according to the company. It can consolidate tasks such as payment security, transaction reporting, point-of-sale functionality and marketing. Fusion also enables remote access and control across multiple sites, allowing retailers to execute management and configuration tasks across several locations at the same time. Using Dresser Wayne’s IP Connect technology, the controller and functionality modules can be connected via existing cabling to fuel dispensers, the company stated. The controller’s modularity allows retailers to mix and match features, and can have solutions added to it as needed, according to the company. The device uses the iX Technology Platform, including the iX Media digital merchandising, iDPOS in-dispenser point-of-sale and iSense remote monitoring.
