Duncan Petroleum and 19-unit Super Soda Centers Chain Sold
DOVER, Del. -- Duncan Petroleum Corp., a marketing company and operator of a 19-unit convenience store chain, was recently sold by Robert "Bob" Duncan through PetroProperties & Finance, located in Coral Gables, Fla., to a Midatlantic multibranded wholesaler, PetroProperties stated.
"The sale of my petroleum business will now enable me to focus on other real estate ventures that I've had on the back burner for years," Duncan said in a statement. "The overall sales process went quite smoothly given the various complexities involved with the transfer of petroleum properties."
The sale included the chain of Super Soda Centers, a commercial fuels business and two free standing shopping centers that are located across Maryland's eastern shore and Delaware. Several of the properties also included general commercial retail and office space, according to the company.
