Dunkin' Donuts Customers Seek Luck of the Irish

CANTON, Mass. — Dunkin' Donuts customers who stop in for a cup of coffee and a breakfast treat may find a pot of gold on St. Patrick's Day with the quick-service restaurant's (QSR) "Win Some Green" promotion.

To mark the holiday and its new Pistachio-flavored coffee inspired by Baskin-Robbins ice cream, Dunkin' Donuts will surprise five customers across the United States with a $1,000 check awarded at the counter at their local restaurant. The promotion runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EST) on March 17.

No purchase is necessary and the program is open to legal U.S. residents residing in the 50 states and Washington, D.C., who are 18 or older.

In addition to the new Pistachio flavor inspired by Baskin-Robbins ice cream, fan favorites Butter Pecan and Cookie Dough flavors are returning to Dunkin' Donuts locations this spring.

The QSR's spring lineup also includes the newly introduced GranDDe Burrito, the brand's biggest breakfast sandwich launch of the year. The offering is a 10-ounce breakfast burrito featuring a tortilla filled with a spicy omelet with jalapenos, red bell peppers and pepper jack cheese with habanero. Dunkin' Donuts then packs in a rice and bean blend that includes corn, fire-roasted peppers and onions.

The Canton-based company is a division of Dunkin' Brands Group Inc. It has more than 11,700 restaurants in 43 countries worldwide.
