First Coast Energy to Convert Shell Stations to Daily's Brand

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --First Coast Energy LLP, parent company to the Daily's convenience store chain, will soon begin converting some of the 87 Shell gas stations it purchased three years ago to the Daily's brand.

The conversion will help First Coast Energy achieve its goal of doubling Daily's store count, Aubrey Edge, president and CEO, told the Jackson Business-Journal. Edge said the company expects to achieve this over the next two to three years through both store conversions and new construction in south and northeast Florida.

The company has also shed stores recently; last week, it sold 11 Daytona, Fla.-area stores to Sunoco Inc.

First Coast Energy currently operates 25 Daily's stores and owns or operates more than 200 gas stations and c-stores throughout Florida.
