F.L. Roberts Reaches Customers With New Digital Strategy

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — F.L. Roberts & Co. launched its new mobile app, which provides users with instant access to coupons, deal alerts, lottery results and gas prices while on the go.

The app, introduced in coordination with GasBuddy OpenStore, provides members of the F.L. Roberts RewardsPLUS loyalty program the ability to keep track of points, recent transactions and a list of available redemptions and promotions. Customers can also find the nearest F.L. Roberts location with the amenities they seek.

According to GasBuddy OpenStore, it provides the tools to send targeted messages and custom deals based on customer preferences, which gives F.L. Roberts the ability to translate digital marketing efforts into store traffic and sales.

GasBuddy OpenStore is a technology solution intended to increase customer loyalty by providing two-way communication between convenience store owners and customers using web technologies and custom-branded mobile applications.

Springfield-based F.L. Roberts & Co. is the largest independent petroleum marketer in western Massachusetts. It operates 28 c-stores, 21 car washes, nine Jiffy Lube locations, two truck refueling centers and the Whately Diner. The RewardsPLUS loyalty program gives customers discounts at the pump based on purchases made at its wide network of automotive services.
