GPM Takes Ownership of One Stop Stores
RICHMOND, Va. — GPM Southeast LLC has officially taken the keys to eight One Stop Food Store locations in the Carolinas.
The Richmond-based wholly owned subsidiary of GPM Investments LLC will convert these convenience stores to its Scotchman retail brand. Scotchman already has a presence in North Carolina and South Carolina. GPM is initiating updates to align these stores to the brand.
"We will continue to steer these eight stores on a successful course, while leaving our own unique imprint to make these new locations part of the GPM family," said GPM President and CEO Arie Kotler.
GPM announced the deal to acquire the eight One Stop locations from Arey Oil Co. in late December, as CSNews Online previously reported.
GPM Investments LLC currently operates 463 retail stores, as well as 115 dealer locations. The One Stop Food Store acquisition, coupled with its pending Road Ranger acquisition, will expand GPM's portfolio to 629 stores in a total of 11 states.
GPM operates under brand names including Fas Mart, Shore Stop, Scotchman Stores, Young's, Li'l Cricket and BreadBox.
