Gulf Brand Returns to the Race Track
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Gulf Oil LP is revving up for its return to the race track. The branded energy products provider formed a new partnership with Hyperfuels, which will develop and market Gulf Racing Fuel to race tracks and performance retailers throughout the country.
Under the multi-year agreement, Hyperfuels will develop and market various grades of unleaded, non-ethanol blends, including 105 and 110 octane. These products will soon be available throughout the United States in both a bulk and packaged format.

Houston-based Hyperfuels distributes racing fuels and sells products through a nationwide dealer network and its website. The Gulf brand brings tremendous value to Hyperfuels, said Jess Hewett, its president.

Framingham, Mass.-based Gulf Oil LP distributes motor fuels via a network of more than 2,500 branded gasoline retail centers, 12 proprietary oil terminals and more than 130 other supply points.
