Gulf Partners With GasBuddy to Reach More Consumers

BOSTON — Gulf Oil is connecting to more consumers with a new Gas Buddy partnership.

Through GasBuddy Business Pages, a business-to-business retail software-as-a-service (SaaS), Gulf and Gulf distributors will have access to a suite of digital tools and services to help reach more consumers.

According to GasBuddy, the partnership will give Gulf direct access to GasBuddy's 70 million "highly engaged fuel and convenience store shoppers."

In addition, GasBuddy Business Pages enables the fuel distributors to review detailed, real-time reporting and gain valuable insight into what consumers are saying about their locations. 

"The GasBuddy solution also allows Gulf distributors to communicate directly with their customers based on feedback submitted through GasBuddy's new ratings and reviews feature," Boston-based GasBuddy added.

The platform will also allow Gulf and Gulf distributors to benchmark their performance against nearby competition, target and grow their customer base and become more educated in the marketplace.

"We are always looking for new and innovative ways to better serve our distributors and dealers, and Business Pages is a perfect addition to our current list of offerings," said Nikki Fales, the director of marketing at Gulf Oil. 

"Business Pages allows both Gulf and our customers to secure a competitive advantage in the market while continuing to enhance the station experience and overall satisfaction for driving consumers," Fales added.

Gulf will also be using a wide range of GasBuddy marketing channels including in-app advertising, "Tank Takeover" station events and GasBuddy user challenges to drive more traffic to Gulf-branded sites across the United States.
