Houchens Industries Acquired Tampico Beverages
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. -- Houchens Industries Inc. confirmed it acquired Tampico Beverages Inc., a global brand sold in over 36 countries worldwide, according to a joint announcement by both companies.
"Tampico Beverages will be a great benefit to our company and its employee owners," Spencer Coates, president of Houchens, said in a released statement. With its corporate offices located here, the company services the retail grocery and convenience store industries, quick-service restaurants industries and more.
"Tampico is a significant acquisition which will continue to diversify and strengthen the Houchens portfolio and further our overall long-term commitment to our employees through our focus on profitable growth," Coates said in a released statement. "We are thrilled to have such a superb management team and employee group joining Houchens."
