Jamba, Nestle Launch RTD Beverages
EMERYVILLE, Calif. -- Beverage makers Jamba Inc. and Nestle USA launched a new line of ready-to-drink beverages that will soon hit convenience store shelves, according to a joint announcement by the companies.
Paul Colette, senior vice president of Jamba, told BusinessWeek that Jamba Smoothies and Jamba Juicies are now available in certain Jamba Juice store locations, as well as grocery retailers and convenience stores including Target, Safeway, Albertsons, Ralph's, 7-Eleven, Raley's and Walgreens.
"This is the first step in our strong partnership with Nestle," Colette told the magazine. "Our teams continue to work together on future product extensions that will build and drive the synergy of Jamba retail and ready-to-drink."
Jamba beverages are made with real fruit and sold in eight Western states: California, Oregon, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Washington and Colorado.
