Kangaroo Express to Offer Penny Coffee

CARY, N.C. -- Kangaroo Express will celebrate National Coffee Day on Sept. 29 by offering a 12-oz. Bean Street Coffee cups for one cent to customers at its 1,500-plus convenience stores.

The special offer is valid from 8 a.m. to noon local time. One specially priced Bean Street Coffee will be allowed per customer, while supplies last.

"We love our guests and guests love coffee," said John Fisher, senior vice president of marketing, merchandising and restaurant operations, Kangaroo Express. "We hope our guests join The Roo for a Bean Street Coffee, customizable to their liking, and we invite them to enjoy yearlong savings with the Roo Mug."

Bean Street Coffee is exclusive to Kangaroo Express stores. It can be customized with options such as sweeteners and flavor shots, including caramel and vanilla.

Kangaroo Express parent The Pantry Inc. operates 1,589 convenience stores in 13 states.
