Kangaroo Express Readies Deal for National Coffee Day

CARY, N.C. – Kangaroo Express will celebrate National Coffee Day on Sept. 29 by offering 12-ounce cups of its Bean Street Coffee for just one penny at the chain's more than 1,550 locations.

Between 8 a.m. and noon that Sunday, customers can enjoy a "centsible" and satisfying breakfast, pairing their coffee with doughnuts, pastries or the new Jimmy Dean Sausage and Biscuit Bun.

The convenience store retailer is also brewing up coffee deals all season long with the 2013 Roo Mug, available in stores starting Monday, Sept. 30. The reusable coffee mug retails for $6.99 plus tax and can be refilled for just 50 cents plus tax through the end of March. Customers who purchase a Roo Mug from Sept. 30 through Oct. 4 will receive a free Jimmy Dean Sausage and Biscuit Bun at grill-ready stores.

"National Coffee Day is the perfect time to show our appreciation for loyal guests that start their mornings off with us here at Kangaroo Express — whether it's to fill up and grab a hearty biscuit bun on the go or simply stop in for a hot, fresh cup of Bean Street Coffee," said Joe Venezia, senior vice president of operations for Kangaroo Express. "We invite our guests to join The Roo in celebrating National Coffee Day with a 1-cent cup of Bean Street Coffee and enjoy season-long savings with the Roo Mug."

The seasonal favorite Pumpkin Spice Cappuccino is available at stores through the end of October. Cappuccinos, flavored coffee and tea are included in the National Coffee Day and Roo Mug offers.
