Kroger Customers Earn Double Fuel Points on Summer Weekends

ROANOKE, Va. — The Kroger Co. is giving consumers more reasons to drive this summer.

Starting May 5, every weekend through Aug. 6, Kroger's Mid-Atlantic customers can receive two times the fuel points with a digital coupon, available from the Kroger app or on the Kroger website, or a paper coupon available in the circular.

"Our customers love using their fuel point rewards to save money on gas while shopping at Kroger," said Allison McGee, spokesperson for Kroger's Mid-Atlantic Division. "This summer promotion allows our valued customers to save even more money on fuel by shopping at Kroger."

Kroger customers can also earn fuel points through everyday purchases with Kroger’s regular fuel points program. Through the program, customers can:

  • Earn 100 fuel points for every $100 in groceries purchased;
  • Earn double points every day on eligible gift card purchases, and earn points when they fill prescriptions;
  • Redeem up to 1,000 points for up to $1 in savings at Kroger fuel centers in one fill up; and
  • Redeem up to 100 points for up to 10 cents in savings per gallon of gas at participating Shell stations.

Roanoke, Va.-based Kroger’s Mid-Atlantic Division operates 120 stores, 115 pharmacies and 86 fuel centers in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina and eastern portions of Tennessee, Kentucky and Ohio.
