Kum & Go Opens New Store

GARNER, Iowa -- Krause Gentle Corp., parent company of Kum & Go convenience stores in the Midwest, today is celebrating the grand opening of its latest state-of-the-art convenience store in Garner, Iowa.

The Garner store is the 306th site to open in the Kum & Go chain.

In addition to the convenience store offerings, this site will also offer a Subway Restaurant, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, movie rentals, car wash and will be the first store in the company to have Proctor & Gamble's "Mr. Clean" sanitized restrooms.

General Manager Jim Eckman will operate the 5,000 square feet store, open to customers 24 hours, seven days a week. In keeping with the Kum & Go motto, 'We Go All Out,' Eckman said the staff would focus on customer service and convenience.
