Kwik Fill Joins With Koupon Media to Begin Mobile Offers
WARREN, Pa. — United Refining Co., operator of the Kwik Fill and Red Apple convenience store chains, joined forces with Koupon Media to deliver mobile offers to its convenience store customers.
The mobile offer program is being distributed via Kwik Fill’s marketing communication strategies, including integration with Kwik Fill’s newly launched loyalty program. The mobile offer program will deliver personalized and targeted incentives to Kwik Fill customers, intended to ultimately increase in-store purchases and link loyalty back to the rewards program.
Kwik Fill customers will be able to enjoy money-saving incentives and rewards, while the retailer will be able to grow in-store sales and realize individual sale attribution, according to Dallas-based Koupon Media.
“After a lot of research and preparation, we’re excited to launch this next component in our overall marketing strategy,” said Lance Pangborn, director of advertising and media for Kwik Fill.
Koupon Media’s branded clients are large consumer packaged goods brands in multiple categories, including carbonated beverages, beer, candy, gum, bottled water, salty snacks, tobacco and energy drinks.
“We are thrilled to be working with Kwik Fill to help it deliver more targeted value to their customer base,” said Brad Van Otterloo, chief revenue officer at Koupon Media. “Kwik Fill’s loyal customer base will be visiting their stores even more frequently, to save on the products they love most.”
Koupon Media will also provide support to Kwik Fill as it expands its mobile offer program as a form of customer engagement during various campaigns and events, including a sweepstakes to take place in June.
Koupon Media’s client list now includes 28,000 convenience stores. A total of more than 40,000 retail locations utilize the company’s technology.
Warren-based United Refining Co. operates nearly 300 convenience stores in New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
