Kwik Shop Voted Best Convenience Store of Topeka
TOPEKA, Kan. -- Kwik Shop was once again voted the Best Convenience Store in the 2012 Best of Topeka contest, reported The Topeka Capital-Journal. Knowledgeable staff, friendly and people-centric atmosphere and wide product selection contributed to its win, according to the company.
"We at Kwik Shop are greatly honored to be named the Best Convenience Store in Topeka," said Brian Fisher, vice president of operations for Kwik Shop. "We are proud to serve, be a part of the community and will continue to earn our customers' loyalty with each and every visit. Thank you, Topeka."
Hutchinson, Kan.-based Kwik Shop, a division of The Kroger Co., operates more than 130 stores in Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Tennessee and Mississippi. It features the Kwik Shop/Dillons Fuel Points Program, which allows customers to save up to $2 per gallon on gasoline purchases through points accumulated by shopping at Kwik Shop and Dillons grocery stores, according to the report.
The c-store chain expanded some of its offerings and built two new stores within the last year, said the company, and plans to remodel some locations over the next year.
"We are happy to be here and plan to stay in the Topeka area for some time," said Fisher.
