Kwik Trip Goes the Extra Mile for Racing Teams
NASHVILLE -- Kwik Trip offered a $500 gift card this weekend to any driver who’s in the top 20 in points standings in the 2008 American Speed Association (ASA) Kwik Trip Midwest Tour and won this Saturday’s ASA RC Cola/Moonpie Southeast Asphalt Tour 200-lap race, according to WhoWon.com.
“Gary Gonczy [marketing director for Kwik Trip] called, and we were talking about our guys going to Nashville,” Steve Einhaus, ASAMT vice president, told the Web site. “He wished they could have attended and wanted to cheer the North guys on to a win. This gesture is just another fine example of how awesome Kwik Trip is to our series and our teams; a top-notch company with top-notch people that go the extra mile for their consumers."
As CSNews Online previously reported, Kwik Trip returned this year for its second season as title sponsor of the American Speed Association Midwest Tour.
"I wish the ASA Midwest Tour teams the best of luck this weekend at Nashville," Gonczy stated. "We are very proud to be the title sponsor of the ASA Midwest Tour and wish we could be there to support the teams like we have at their tour events this season."
