INDIANAPOLIS -- Southern California drivers will have the opportunity to receive pit-stop service from 2004 IRL IndyCar Series champion Tony Kanaan and Ethanol Hemelgarn Racing drivers Paul Dana and Jimmy Kite during the IndyCar Series Pit Stop Pump Tour today, reported WhoWon.com .

The drivers will pump ethanol-enriched mid-grade fuel, sign autographs and hand out free race merchandise at 7-Eleven convenience stores in Ontario and Pomona, Calif. Gas will be discounted to $2.20 per gallon during the 90-minute stops, a tie-in to IndyCar Series cars racing at 220 miles per hour, according to the report.

The Ethanol/7-Eleven fuel promotion today will kick off an action-packed weekend for the Ethanol Hemelgarn Racing drivers. In the evening, CARA Charities will hold their third annual fund-raising event at the California Speedway. Paul Dana and other IndyCar drivers, as well as "CHIPs" star Erik Estrada will be on hand to help raise funds for CARA Charities and CHP's Child Passenger Safety Program, reported WhoWon.com .

Saturday the action moves to the track with two practice sessions, qualifying and the driver autograph session. Sunday will have Jimmy Kite and the #91 Ethanol Hemelgarn Racing Dallara/Toyota/Firestone taking the track for the 400-mile race starting at 12:45 p.m. Pacific Time on the 2-mile superspeedway. ESPN will broadcast the season finale race live with coverage beginning at 12:30 Pacific Time, according to the report.

According to WhoWon.com , Monday night will see both Dana and Kite in attendance at the Indy Racing League's Championship Celebration at Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
