Love's Footprint Reaches 400 Locations

OKLAHOMA CITY — Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores reached a milestone when the opening of its latest location pushed its portfolio to 400.

The Love's Travel Stop in South Holland, Ill., is the latest of the 37 sites the company cut the ribbon on this year. In all, the new locations in 2016 added more than 2,200 truck-parking spaces across 15 states.

The latest travel stop located at Interstate 94 offers gourmet coffee, fresh fruit, gift items and a Hardee's restaurant. It also features 88 truck-parking spaces, seven showers, a Love's Truck Tire Care facility and other driver services. It is open 24 hours day, seven days a week.

Oklahoma City-based Love's is on track to round out 2016 by adding 50 new stores — the most locations opened in a single year in the company' history.

"As we've expanded, we've tried to step up our level of overall highway hospitality," said Greg Love, co-CEO of Love's. "In addition to adding more stores, we've also looked at other ways we can help our customers. That evaluation has resulted in expanding our tire care services, offering factoring services, a growing hotel business and more. Reaching 400 locations is just one of many more milestones we hope to achieve."

Love's is celebrating the 400-mark by giving customers opportunities to win My Love Rewards points, Michelin steer tires and Love's gift cards.

Beginning Nov. 10, 100 My Love Rewards members will win $400 worth of points. Customers swipe their loyalty cards at any Love's location to find out if they are one of 25 winners who will randomly be selected to win each week.

My Love Rewards members can also swipe their cards at any Love's store to be entered into a drawing to win one of four sets of Michelin steer tires.

In addition, Love's customers who show how they're celebrating 400 locations on Love's Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts using the #Loves400 hashtag are eligible to win one of four $100 Love's gift cards.

The giveaways run through Dec. 10.

"We've come a long way from our first filling station in Oklahoma in 1964, to now having more than 400 stores in 40 states," Love said. "We wouldn't have experienced such growth without our loyal customers and we're honored to serve them with 'Clean Places, Friendly Faces' nationwide. We'll keep looking for new ways, and new locations, to serve them."
