Lucky’s Opens 1st St. Louis-area Store
Lucky’s Market will open its first store in the St. Louis area in early July, representing the Boulder, Colo.-based grocer’s second store in Missouri and seventh overall.
Located at 15830 Fountain Plaza Drive in Ellisville, the 38,000-square-foot store will host a wide selection of organic, specialty and gluten-free items, as well as house-made deli items, in-house cured and smoked bacon, local produce, fresh meats and seafood, and a bakery. The store will also include a juice bar, a coffee bar, a beer and wine section, and a community room.
“As trained culinary professionals and downright foodies, we imagine our stores as an oasis of health, kindness and support,” said Bo Sharon, who founded Lucky’s with his wife, Trish. “We strive to be an integral piece of the community, with a purpose greater than simply selling food. We’re looking forward to giving our neighbors in the St. Louis area a new taste and experience to bring home to their kitchens.”
Lucky’s expanded to Longmont, Colo., and Columbus, Ohio, in 2013. Locations in Columbia, Mo., and Billings, Mont., opened early this year. A new location, in Louisville, Ky., is scheduled to open in May.
