MAPCO Brings Relaxation Line to Its C-stores


HOUSTON -- MAPCO Express has reached an agreement with Innovative Beverage Group Holdings Inc. to carry the company's relaxation products. This includes the original drank and the new Island Time offering.

"MAPCO prides itself on having a diverse selection of product for our consumers to choose from," says Damian Wyatt, MAPCO category leader, beverages. "We are excited about our partnership with drank and looking forward to providing our hard working customers with a little relaxation."

MAPCO Express joins the ranks of many convenience store companies that have added drank to their New Age beverage lineup.

"As we look at our growth strategy, it is imperative for us to choose strategic partners that help give us better coverage in our key markets including north Georgia, Tennessee, Arkansas, Virginia and Alabama. MAPCO was at the top of our list," said Innovative Beverage Group CEO Peter Bianchi.

The company recently launched drank Island Time, a tropical blend, in their line of relaxation products. Through marketing and publicity efforts, the Island Time campaign centers around the trademarked "Official Product of the End of the World" theme, which has resonated with those who are following the Mayan calendar "end of days" theory in 2012.
