SALT LAKE CITY — Maverik Inc. will close six convenience stores on March 5. One is located in Utah, another is in Wyoming and the remaining four sites are in Idaho.
“As Maverik expands, we want to ensure that our customers enjoy the same level of amazing service no matter the store location,” said Aaron Simpson, vice president of Maverik. “Closing these stores was not an easy decision to make, and it was based on the need for consistency as we continue to grow. It is important for all of our employees to know how appreciated they are as Maverik team members. This change will help Maverik concentrate its resources on the overall growth within each community we serve, improving our customers’ experience and opening up new opportunities in the future.”
