Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip Makes Convenience Channel Debut

DES PLAINES, Ill. — The Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip international bakery chain has entered the convenience store market at its newest location at 1605 South River Road in Des Plaines. This is the company's only location open in a c-store and gas station.

The cafe offers freshly baked cookies, specialty baked treats and customized cookie cakes, along with a variety of savory items, including flatbreads, paninis and wraps.

"Every new cafe opening is exciting to us, but this one is extra special because it marks two important milestones: Our only cafe in Des Plaines and the only existing cafe located inside a convenience store/gas station," said Ziad S. Dalal, president of Crest Foods Inc., the franchisor of Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip. "We are excited to open up in this great location and to begin serving our freshly baked treats to this wonderful community."

The new cafe is the brand's fifth location in Illinois. It is open daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Nestlé Toll House Café by Chip has more than 160 cafes worldwide.
