New Gulf Visa Card Rewards Customer Loyalty

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — Gulf Oil LP is launching a new Gulf Visa Card to accelerate savings and convenience for consumers across its 32-state service area. Whenever they use the card, customers can earn points redeemable for Gulf gift cards to buy gas, services and in-store merchandise at more than 2,500 Gulf-branded gas stations.

The Gulf Visa Card is issued through Gulf's partnership with First Bankcard, a division of First National Bank of Omaha.

"Millions of consumers make purchases at Gulf stations every day, and we are delighted to be able to reward them for their loyalty," stated Gulf Oil Senior Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Rick Dery. "The Gulf Visa Card is another example of our commitment to providing our customers with great value at every turn — whether it's turning into a Gulf station to fill up or shopping anywhere else on the planet."

Gulf Visa cardholders will earn three loyalty points for every $1 spent on any purchase at participating Gulf stations, and one point for every $1 spent elsewhere. These points are redeemed in 2,000-point increments, with each 2,000 points equating to a $20 gift card.

The Gulf gift cards are sent automatically to customers in increments of $20, $40, $60, $80 and $100. There is no limit on loyalty points that can be earned.

Customers can apply for the Gulf Visa Card online or by visiting their local Gulf station.
