Nomination Period Opens for CSNews Technology Leadership Awards

JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- Convenience Store News is now accepting nominations for its 11th annual Technology Leadership Awards. As in years past, two awards will be presented: the Top Tech Executive Award and the Outstanding Tech Implementation Award.

The Top Tech Executive Award honors a convenience store industry executive who demonstrates vision and innovation, and leads the way for their company and the industry to take full advantage of tech solutions. The Outstanding Tech Implementation Award recognizes a c-store chain for outstanding technology implementation during the past year.

The 2014 winners will be announced in late spring and featured in the July issue of Convenience Store News.

Last year, Greg Parker, CEO of The Parker Cos., received the Top Tech Executive Award. Hy-Vee Inc.'s implementation of FuelQuest's FMS and ForeSite SV products at 111 locations won the Outstanding Tech Implementation Award.

Nominations will be accepted until March 14. The entry process is free. Both retailers and industry suppliers are welcome to submit nominations to CSNews Managing Editor Brian Berk at [email protected].
