"An Offer They Can't Refuse"
Hinsdale, Ill. -- Royal Buying Group Inc. (RBG) announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Godfather's Pizza Inc. to provide marketing and merchandising services to convenience operators. The agreement will allow RBG to provide retailers with the Godfather's Pizza Express programs to all convenience store locations in the industry.
Specifically developed for c-store locations, RBG will be offering the recently-developed freezer-to-oven program, which includes a complete menu consisting of traditional/ breakfast/dessert pizzas, chicken tenders, chicken wings, seasoned potato wedges, breadsticks with dipping sauce, etc. The easy-to-execute program is designed for operators whose space and labor is limited. Pizzas are pre-assembled and flash frozen. With little or no product waste and minimal labor needed, just thawing and baking is required.
For those operators who have more space or a need to be able to sell a made-to-order pizza, Godfather's Pizza Express' Frozen Golden Program gives that flexibility. Both programs include in-store training by Godfather's Pizza franchise services personnel, RBG said.
"Godfather's 30-plus year reputation for providing the highest quality food, low fees, ease-of-operation, on-site training, flexible layouts, traffic/sales building marketing materials and on-going support enables RBG to provide an all-encompassing, nationally-recognized, branded foodservice program. The quality of this program aligns with RBG's goal to providing the best programs to the convenience store industry," said Sharon Porter, director of business development for RBG.
"It's a perfect partnership," added Ron Gartlan, president and CEO of Godfather's Pizza. "With RBG's help, we'll be able to get high-quality, great-tasting Godfather's Pizza to customers on the go at a myriad of convenient locations." He continued, "We're excited about the new Godfather's Pizza Express concept, and its ability to give the public the same delicious product they'd get in our restaurants. We're a name people equate with great pizza -- and even greater now that it's more widely available and in short order."
