The Pantry Deploys Site Profiling Technology

CARY, N.C. -- The Pantry Inc., a chain of 1,500-plus convenience stores, is licensing AccuStore’s site profile management platform with the goal of reducing operating costs and improving execution.

“Implementing AccuStore at The Pantry will provide us with store-specific information, designed to help streamline marketing decisions and budget planning,” said Nancy Clemons, The Pantry’s director of marketing. “It will be part of our overall toolbox in marketing planning and implementation.”

AccuStore, a GSP company, enables retailers to maintain a centralized online repository of site-level details that is accessible throughout the organization.

The site profiling technology can be utilized to help drive efficiencies in store-level marketing planning; increase return on investment for marketing initiatives by improving store-level execution; and reduce waste resulting from excess marketing materials.

AccuStore also comes equipped with an online survey tool and mobile app integration, which collects information quickly at the store level and ensures the accuracy of the data going forward.

“AccuStore makes it easy to access real-time information about every aspect of your stores, anytime you want,” said Nancy Carter, AccuStore’s product manager. “And by bridging the gap between what the field knows and what the corporate office knows, AccuStore can reduce indirect spend in the stores by eliminating waste.”
