Parker’s New Director of Ops Promoted From Within
SAVANNAH, Ga. — The Parker Cos. promoted Jeff Bush, formerly its director of fuel management, to its director of operations post. Bush will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of all convenience stores in Parker’s network, including fuels, pricing and logistics.
“Jeff has truly earned this opportunity to manage operations at all of our stores and will help us expand into new markets,” said Parker’s president and CEO Greg Parker. “Since joining Parker’s, he has worked closely with operations while focusing on pricing, supply and loyalty. A natural leader, Jeff has a powerful commitment to the Parker’s brand and will help us achieve new levels of success as we continue to expand our footprint throughout the region.”
Bush joined Parker’s in 2012 as director of fuel management and was responsible for overseeing fuel logistics, pricing strategies, supply costs and negotiations with suppliers. During his tenure with the company, he helped lead the Parker’s District Manager Development Program and spearheaded community outreach efforts.
Originally from Lewes, Del., Bush joined the U.S. Army as a Forward Observer at the age of 19. He quickly rose to the rank of Staff Sergeant, earning the Combat Action Badge, Iraqi Campaign Medal and 14 other awards and medals. He earned a bachelor of arts in Economics from Armstrong State University in Savannah, where he served as business manager at The Inkwell and excelled as a Presidential Scholar. Bush currently resides in Savannah.
Savannah-based The Parker Cos. operates 44 convenience stores and is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary.
