PEI Elects New Officers and Board
TULSA, OKLA.The members of the Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI) elected Kendall Johnson president and Sonny Underwood vice president of the organization during its annual membership meeting in Dallas. Mike Scudder was appointed PEI treasurer.Johnson and Underwood take office Jan. 1. Johnson is president of Denver-based Littlejohn's Equipment Co. Underwood is president of Mid-South Steel Products, Inc., Cape Girardeau, Mo., while Scudder serves as president of Doraville, Ga,-based Meco of Atlanta Inc., PEI is the international trade association for distributors, manufacturers and installers of equipment used in petroleum marketing.Eight new district directors have been elected to PEI's Board of Directors. The new directors include: * Garry Tribley, president of Valley Equipment Co., Schenectady, N.Y.* Blair Shwedo, president of SouthEastern Petroleum Systems Inc., Charlotte, N.C.* David Brumby, owner of LASSCO Inc., Lake Charles, La.* Gene A. Hoyer, president of Kubat Equipment & Service Co., Denver* Ann Thomas, president of Petroleum Marketing Equipment, Placentia, Calif.* Terry Baker, national sales manager of Spero Electric Corp., Cleveland* Michael Dougherty, president of Keystone Structures Inc., Kennett Square, Pa.* Keith A. Stewart, associate at Wes Yeager & Associates, Woodridge, N.J. The eight new directors join six incumbent directors. Each member was elected to serve a two-year term.
