Jason McAuliffe has joined ERI, a Bonita Springs, Fla.-based company specializing in recruiting and consulting for the convenience store and petroleum industry.
McAuliffe started his petroleum career with Irving Oil overseeing its environmental compliance. He then went to work for the state of Florida on various environmental issues facing the state's water supply. For the past four years, he has worked with various petroleum companies to resolve their underground contamination exposure.
"Jason is a positive, talented professional with an extensive knowledge of the personnel needs within the petroleum industry," said Chris McAuliffe, ERI's president.
In other news, Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages appointed Jim Johnston executive vice president of sales, effective Jan. 1, 2005. Johnston, who is currently the executive vice president of strategy for CSAB, replaces Mike McGrath, who will retire at the end of 2004.
"Jim's extensive industry knowledge, coupled with his passion for winning in the marketplace and collaborative management style, makes him the ideal candidate to lead what is already a strong, performance-driven sales team," said CSAB president and CEO Gilbert M. Cassagne. "With Jim's extensive knowledge of the company, as well as the strategies driving our business, he will provide the vision, strategic direction and operational focus needed for us to compete to win."
A 12-year veteran of Cadbury Schweppes, Johnston brings more than 26 years of beverage industry experience to his new position. This includes sales, field marketing and strategy. He joined Cadbury Schweppes in November 1992 as manager of marketing services and has held progressively more responsible positions in field marketing, strategy and licensing. He also played an integral role in shaping the strategies and functions of the new CSAB.
