Petro Stopping Centers Named Favorite Truck Stop in Survey
WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC's Petro Stopping Centers brand was named "favorite truck stop" by Atlas Van Lines drivers in the company's sixth annual "King of the Road" survey, the company reported.
The survey included responses from 340 drivers who were asked a number of questions about their preferences in a variety of areas. Of those questioned, 44 percent named Petro Stopping Centers as their favorite truck stop.
In 2007 and 2008, an independent survey of professional drivers by Overdrive Magazine indicated Petro Stopping was voted best in numerous categories such as "best employees," "best truck maintenance facilities" and "best restaurant food," along with many other categories meaningful to its customers, the company reported.
