Pilot Flying J Launches New Web site

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. -- Pilot Flying J launched a new Web site, pilotflyingj.com, to better serve the company’s customers with enhanced, easy-to-navigate information about its locations, products and services.

The new site unites the Pilot Travel Centers and Flying J brands online. Pilot Travel Centers and Flying J merged in July 2010, and Pilot Flying J continues to operate the two brands at more than 550 interstate locations across North America.

"Our new Web site is designed with all customers in mind -- professional drivers, RV owners, fleet operators, families planning road trips or people living in one of the hundreds of communities that Pilot Flying J serves," stated President and CEO Jimmy Haslam.

The Web site caters to each customer group, with specific sections for professional drivers and RV owners. Customers can access information about fuel prices, upcoming trucking shows and RV rallies, the Pilot Flying J Frequent Fueler Advantage loyalty card information and more.

Professional drivers can review which travel center locations feature specific amenities such as bulk "DEF at-the-pump." With nearly 70 current locations and more planned, Pilot Flying J said it operates the largest network of bulk "DEF at-the-pump" in the industry.

The home page of the new site features important messages about current news, events and promotions including in-store specials on Pilot Flying J’s premium coffee and food offerings, new location announcements and contests such as a chance to win tickets to a Pilot Flying J Race Day Experience with NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Michael Annett.

Customers also can access a store locator tool and enhanced "Plan a Trip" feature. Designed for use by professional drivers, RV enthusiasts and traveling motorists, this feature helps customers plan stops at Pilot Flying J locations along their way, with turn-by-turn directions

"The site provides easy-to-use tools and information that help our customers find us, get connected with us, pick up the quality products and services they need and get back on the road," Haslam said in a statement. "And our new mobile site provides the same access from their smartphones to information and services they might need away from home."

On-the-go customers can access a mobile version of the new Pilot Flying J Web site by visiting www.pilotflyingj.com on their smartphones. The mobile site also features a store locator tool, sections for the professional driver and RV owner, access to the Frequent Fueler Advantage loyalty program and ways to connect with customer service or via social media.

Pilot Flying J is the largest retail operator of travel centers in North America.
