Pilot Flying J Offering Free Slice on National Pizza Day
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — In honor of National Pizza Day on Feb. 9, Pilot Flying J is giving customers a free slice of its “Unexpectedly Awesome” PJ Fresh Pizza. The offer is redeemable by displaying an online coupon available through the company’s Facebook page at the time of purchase.
"With our large network of travel centers across North America, you don't have to travel far to find 'Unexpectedly Awesome' pizza and food offerings," said Ken Parent, president of Pilot Flying J. "And for those travelers who haven't tried our gourmet pizza just yet, they can stop by a Pilot Travel Center or Flying J Travel Plaza on National Pizza Day for a slice of the pie — on us."
PJ Fresh Pizza is available at more than 250 Pilot Travel Centers and Flying J Travel Plazas across North America.
The "Unexpectedly Awesome" pizzas are made with 100-percent real mozzarella cheese, and the dough is braided on-site by hand. It is prepared with a variety of toppings, from pepperoni and sausage to an array of vegetables.
The free-pizza promotion is limited to one slice per customer and is valid for customers in the U.S. and Canada from 12 a.m. until 11:59 p.m. EST on Feb. 9.
In addition to celebrating National Pizza Day, Pilot Flying J is offering football fans watching the big game on Feb. 7 a fresh, hot, full pizza pie for $10.99, varying by location.
Knoxville-based Pilot Flying J has 650 retail locations throughout North America.
