Pinnacle Wins Expo Trends Award at NACStech 2010
ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Pinnacle Corp. was selected as an EXPO Trends 2010 winner at the NACStech show May 7, in New Orleans, the company reported.
With more than 100 exhibitors participating at the NACStech technology show this year, retailers voted for the suppliers they felt offered the most innovative and exciting technologies to the industry, and Pinnacle was selected as a winner.
"We are excited to have been selected by NACStech retailer attendees as a leading technology supplier to the industry," said Drew Mize, vice president of product management and marketing at The Pinnacle Corp. "We are able to drive more value to our clients and ultimately the consumer by providing solutions that keep pace with the evolution of new trends and technologies."
New and emerging technology solutions highlighted by Pinnacle at this year's NACStech show included:
-- Andalé, an electronic bill of lading technology that streamlines the process of fuel deliveries from dispatch all the way back to the fuel accounting system; eliminating errors, speeding time to billing, and requiring no new in-truck hardware
-- Dispatcher Workstation, a "mission control" that provides fuel dispatchers and buyers the ability to make informed fuel purchase and delivery decisions by having real-time inventory information along with predictive modeling
-- A loyalty Web consumer interface that enables consumers to view and edit their account information
-- A loyalty iPhone app enabling consumers to use their mobile phone as their loyalty credential instead of having to carry their loyalty card
-- An advanced payment terminal solution that supports signature capture, contactless payments, signature threshold, scrolling receipt, and marketing graphics support using Pinnacle's Palm POS with Ingenico's i6000 series payment terminals; complete with home office ticket research reprint tools to recreate receipts with the signature.
