PowerBar Gel

PowerBar introduces a new PowerBar Gel formulation, which now includes four times the sodium compared to leading energy gels. This makes it the first gel to provide the carbohydrate and key electrolyte delivery of a sports drink, the company reported. Athletes can now use PowerBar Gel and water or sports drinks interchangeably. The new line includes three new flavors -- Plain Energy, Caramel and Double Latte, which pack 50 milligrams of caffeine, a proven performance enhancer in endurance sports. PowerBar has also redesigned the packaging.
