Product of the Year USA Names 29 Winners for 2016

NATIONAL REPORT — Product of the Year, the world’s largest consumer-voted awards program for product innovation, announced its 2016 U.S. winners. Honorees were chosen in 29 categories by more than 40,000 consumers who voted in a national representative survey conducted by the brand’s research partner, TNS.

Eligible entries included products that were launched within the previous year and demonstrate innovation. Entered products were then categorized into food, beverages, personal care, household care, etc. The winning product in each category was chosen through the TNS consumer survey. 

This year’s Product of the Year USA winners are:

The 29 winners were announced at the 2016 Product of the Year Awards ceremony, held Feb. 11 at the Edison Ballroom in New York City.

“Consumers are looking for quick, in-and-out experiences in stores when making their everyday household purchases,” said Rich Fryling, managing director of Product of the Year USA. “The red Product of the Year Award seal lets shoppers know that over 40,000 fellow consumers prefer the winning products over the competition.”

Established 29 years ago, Product of the Year currently operates in 42 countries with the same purpose: guide consumers to the best products on the shelf, while rewarding manufacturers for quality and innovation.
