Q Mart Parent Co. Tees Up for Charity

HOUSTON — Northwest Petroleum LP, parent company of Q Mart convenience stores, will hold its first Charity Classic Golf Tournament to benefit The Lighthouse of Houston, an organization that provides education, recreation and career resources for the blind and visually impaired.

“Community involvement and charitable activities are both integral to the success of Northwest Petroleum since we believe our people and our community make us who we are so it is important to give back especially to an organization like Lighthouse that we hold in high esteem,” said Fazil Malik, president and CEO of Northwest Petroleum.

The golf tournament will take place Friday, Sept. 9, at the Black Horse Country Club at 12205 Fry Road, Cypress, Texas. Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. Platinum-level donors include Phillips 66, Motiva, Amegy Bank and Gilbarco.
