QuikTrip Celebrates 'April Food's Day' to Unveil New Menu Item

TULSA, Okla. — It's no joke. QuikTrip Corp. is celebrating "April Food's Day" with the official nationwide launch of its new breakfast pizza.

The latest addition to the convenience store chain's menu is made of sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs and melted cheddar jack cheese on top of a crispy crust.

QuikTrip will give away free samples of the breakfast pizza in all of its markets through the month of April to support the launch.

Customers can purchase a fresh-made slice of the breakfast pizza at a full-service QT Kitchens counter from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. every morning. One slice goes for $2.99 and two slices are $5.

Along with the breakfast pizza, QT Kitchens counters offer fresh, made-to-order food and beverages including flatbreads and sandwiches, kolaches, specialty drinks, soft-serve ice cream and full- or by-the-slice pizzas from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Tulsa-based QuikTrip operates more than 700 convenience stores in 12 states.
