QuikTrip Joins Comdata Fuel Consortium
TULSA, Okla. — QuikTrip Corp. joined the Comdata Fuel Consortium (CFC), a nationwide network of approximately 30,000 retail fuel locations offering an automatic price-per-gallon discount to Comdata MasterCard Corporate Fleet Card customers.
Via the CFC network, QuikTrip now offers Comdata Fleet Card customers a 3-cent-per-gallon discount on all gasoline and diesel purchases.
"QuikTrip is pleased to have this opportunity to provide a discount to customers through this platform. We look forward to a long relationship with Comdata,” said Jason Reed, manager of commercial fuels for QuikTrip.
Todd House, president of North American Fuel Card for Comdata Corp., noted that the idea for CFC came from a client advisory board.
"This focus on continued growth of the network is representative of our commitment to the industry as a whole," House said. "The CFC allows merchants like QuikTrip to drive more business to their locations, while providing additional savings for fleets.”
The Comdata MasterCard is issued by Regions Bank. Brentwood, Tenn.-based Comdata is a business-to-business provider of electronic payment systems.
Tulsa-based QuikTrip Corp. was founded in 1958 and operates more than 700 convenience stores in 12 states.
