QuikTrip Partners With Reasor's on New Rewards Card Program

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Reasor's, a local supermarket chain that also operates two convenience stores, today held a press conference announcing the launch of Reasor's Rewards, a program initially designed to reward loyal Reasor's customers with savings on fuel at Oklahoma QuikTrip locations. The program is a collaborative effort between Reasor's and QuikTrip Corporation, two local companies with strong ties to the community.

"Reasor's Rewards is our largest program launch ever. In fact, we anticipate that our customers will save upwards of $3 million on fuel in the first year alone," said Jeff Reasor, Reasor's chairman and CEO. "We've offered our Advantage Card for several years as a test case as a way for our Catoosa [Okla.] and 15th & Lewis [Tulsa] customers to earn points to save at the pump. With our new partner QuikTrip we are able to offer the opportunity to save on fuel to every single Reasor's customer."

All shoppers can now save on fuel at any Oklahoma QuikTrip or Lil' Reasor's fuel center. The program operates using a Reasor's Rewards Card, which customers can sign up to receive free at any Reasor's store. Once the card has been activated, all the customer needs to do is start shopping. A quick swipe of the Rewards Card at checkout will add points earned to the card, and the points will instantly appear at the bottom of the receipt. Five points are earned for every $50 spent in qualifying purchases. Points stack up and there is no limit to how many can be earned. As an added benefit, five points are also earned on each paid prescription filled at a Reasor's pharmacy.

Points can then be redeemed at any Oklahoma QuikTrip or Lil' Reasor's fuel center for savings at the pump. Card holders will simply insert their card at the pump to redeem. Five Rewards points amounts to 5 cents savings, 10 Rewards points is equal to 10 cents savings, etc., up to 20 gallons of any grade of fuel in a single transaction. Customers can check their balance and learn more about the program at any time by visiting the company's website.

"Both QuikTrip and Reasor's have a long history of enhancing our customers' shopping experience," said Mike Thornbrugh, QuikTrip manager of public & government affairs. "This partnership is an example of our commitment to provide the best possible value and savings for our customers."

Customers can begin signing up for the Reasor's Rewards card at any of Reasor's 15 grocery stores and two c-stores on Wednesday, May 9 at 8:00 a.m. The stores will staff sign-up tables in the lobby for the next two weeks. After the initial sign-up period, cards will be available at the register or customer service.
