WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Adult tobacco users will have more variety to choose from with two new brand extensions from Reynolds American Inc. (RAI) operating companies.
R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. added Camel White to its Camel brand portfolio this week. The new offering hit store shelves in 21 states: Alaska, California, Colorado, Idaho, Minnesota, North Dakota, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, Arizona, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Nebraska and Ohio.
According to company spokesman Richard Smith, Camel White provides a premium look and feel that appeals to adult smokers seeking a premium, smooth smoking experience. Camel White styles will be available in mellow and menthol. In testing, Camel White had very high appeal with adult smokers, both of Camel and of competitive brands, Smith added.
