Royal Farms Kicks Off First Chicken Palooza

BALTIMORE — Royal Farms will celebrate its first annual Chicken Palooza from July 2 through Aug. 31, when chicken lovers will have the chance to win one of four prizes for free chicken for a year.

Sweepstakes winners will receive their prizes in the form of eight $100 Royal Farms gift cards. No purchase is necessary to enter. Rules, details and instructions on how to enter are available through the contest's website.

The convenience store retailer is also offering $1 any size fountain drinks, slushes and fresh-brewed iced tea, and $5 two-piece chicken meals. During Chicken Palooza, Royal Farms will donate a portion of all sales from every $5 box purchased to Johns Hopkins Children's Center.

Additionally, on July 6, National Fried Chicken Day, Royal Farms will give away a free two-piece meal to registered members of its Rofo Rewards program.

"Our goal is to have Chicken Palooza become an event that our customers get excited about every year," said Royal Farms CEO John Kemp. "We selected Johns Hopkins Children's Center because of their dedication to providing exceptional pediatric medical care — both on a local and national level."

For a limited time, Royal Farms will offer Chicken Palooza 2018 T-shirts for $7.99 at all stores. Limited-edition chicken boxes, sub wraps and fountain cups displaying the Chicken Palooza logo will be available with purchase from the deli.

Baltimore-based Royal Farms operates 188 stores in Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
