Royal Farms Satisfies Sweet Tooth

BALTIMORE

Royal Farms Inc., the Baltimore-based convenience store operator, has added Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to its more than 100 company-owned stores in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.

As part of an agreement between the companies, the doughnuts are delivered fresh daily from local Krispy Kreme stores. Royal Farms is displaying the doughnuts in Krispy Kreme cases and are sold by the dozen, half-dozen or individually.

Royal Farms is strongly committed to its foodservice offering with all stores also featuring a King's Subs, Royal Chicken or Cafe Royal food program. The company also recently added proprietary cinnamon and caramel twists and sandwich wraps to its foodservice lineup.

"Krispy Kreme is a natural extension to our fresh and convenient foods offering available day and night," said Frank Schilling, merchandising manager for Royal Farms. "Our customers have come to expect quick-service foods of the highest quality and they now have another reason to stop in any of our stores."
