The York-based convenience store operator launched beer sales at its first three locations in Mercersburg, Newberrytown and Hamburg, Pa. Rutter's is the first c-store in Franklin, York and Berks counties to begin selling beer.
Rutter's beer caves are set to 29 degrees and offer a selection of craft, domestic and imported beers and ciders available in singles, six-packs and 12-packs. Customers can purchase beer Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m., and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 a.m., in accordance with Pennsylvania law.
The restaurant area of Rutter's that features the beer cave has seating for at least 30 customers, according to the company.
