SavOn, Acorn Petroleum Join Smoker Friendly Private Label Program

ONEIDA, N.Y. and COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – SavOn Convenience Stores and Acorn Petroleum joined Smoker Friendly International’s private label tobacco program.

SavOn operates 13 convenience stores and gas stations in Oneida, Sherrill, Verona and Canastota, N.Y. Colorado Springs, Colo.-based Acorn Petroleum operates eight stores in southern and western Colorado.

With the addition of SavOn and Acorn, Boulder, Colo.-based Smoker Friendly International now has nearly 900 stores signed on to offer its private label tobacco program.

Several convenience store operators have turned to private label tobacco programs in recent years in an attempt to boost profit margins in the category, according to Smoker Friendly.
