Smoker Friendly Acquires Colorado Cigar Shop & Lounges
BOULDER, Colo. -- Smoker Friendly is growing its footprint by adding a Colorado cigar shop to its portfolio.
Smoker Friendly and its parent company, The Cigarette Store Corp., purchased Longmont-based Havana Manor Cigar Shop and Club. Havana Manor has a retail storefront and two separate lounges: The Rocky Patel Lounge and The Camacho Lounge.
"Havana Manor fits nicely into the footprint of the Smoker Friendly stores and will be a great addition for cigar events and private parties," the company said in a release.
Dan Gallagher, chief operating officer of Smoker Friendly, The Cigarette Store Corp., said the company plans to update the look of the Longmont location and fill the humidor to the top. According to the release, Havana Manor Cigar Shop and Club owner Mike Landau made the decision to sell to the Gallagher Family, who have been long-time friends.
Smoker Friendly operates 90 corporate-owned stores in Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, Utah and Wyoming. Another 850 stores in 38 states are operated by licensed retailers. Smoker Friendly's parent company also operates the Gasamat chain of gas stations and convenience stores.
